Level 6 Diploma in Individual and Group Supervision

ABC Awards have endorsed our Level 6 Diploma in Supervision under their Quality Licensing Scheme (QLS). This means that Bedonwell Counselling Associates has undergone an external quality check to ensure that our courses meet certain quality criteria stipulated by ABC Awards. ABC Awards is a leading Awarding organisation, regulated by Ofqual. It has a long held reputation for developing and awarding high quality vocational qualifications across a range of industries.The learning outcomes of this course have been benchmarked at Level 6 against Ofqual level descriptors. This indicates the level of difficulty and depth of study involved in successful course completion.

The next Diploma in Supervision starts on Sunday March 4th 2018 at our Dartford training location.

Course Induction

Before starting the course, we will arrange a course induction via telephone. Please contact us to arrange this. The induction will provide you with an opportunity to speak to the tutor and to gain an understanding about the course and what will be expected of you.

Entry Requirements

All students will hold at least a Diploma in Counselling and be experienced counsellors or psychotherapists with either BACP or UKCP individual accreditation or evidence of working towards this.

The course is taught in a facilitative manner and all participants are encouraged to value the contributions of others when discussing issues relating to counselling.

Course Fees 

£2,160.00 inc ABC awards Reg Fee

Payment Options

Option 1:

Initial payment: £480.00 prior to the start date of the course. Seven further monthly payments of £240.00. To be completed by the course end date.

Option 2:

This is our 'bespoke' option. You get to calculate how much to pay as the initial payment and subsequent monthly payments. Final payment must be made in the month prior to the end of the programme.

Option 3:

Full payment of £2,160.00 prior to the start date of the course.  This is the option to select if your employer/sponsor is paying your fees or you prefer to pay in full.

Course Dates

The course starts on Sunday March 4th 9.30am-5.30pm and runs approximately twice a month through to July 2018.

Key Aims of the course programme

This course combines classroom tuition with applied practice. Students will study and be assessed in the following areas:

  • Learners practice the application of supervision skills within an ethical framework
  • To enable learners to develop an integrative theoretical model of supervision practice
  • To develop and work with creativity in Supervision
  • To be aware difference and diversity in Supervision

Progressional Route

Successful completion of this Supervision Course enables learners to increase counselling skills to offer the provision of supervision to other qualified counsellors.
