Course 1: Level 3 Advanced Skills in Relational Development

About this course

This course aims to facilitate personal growth and the development of self awareness through the applied understanding of Transactional Analysis (TA) theories. Students will explore both their intra-personal and inter-personal relationship styles of relating by using TA's theoretical concepts to gain insight and illumination into their own lives. These ways of relating will have been formed in early life due to each individual's experience of parental, family, social, societal, cultural and environmental influences. Often these relational styles that have been adopted will be unhealthy and not conducive to personal empowerment and maturity. This course provides the opportunity via the prism of TA theory to uncover how outdated and unhealthy ways of relating to self and others can be identified and challenged.
